I've wanted to write for so long, and today I'm finally getting around to it. It's been quite difficult for me to sit down and write because I've been moving around so much, not that I'm trying to make excuses for myself. I've unpacked my bags in four different cities since we last spoke. This job has been busier than I anticipated, but that's all for the best. 

I traveled from London to Prague to establish a new branch office. You know I've always wanted to travel, but maybe when I used to talk about that I was thinking about Prague in the spring.With morning lows of minus 15 degrees and early evening darkness, winter proved extremely difficult. But compared to the endless days of rain and dreary sky back home, at least there were blue skies and white snow. Being away from home during the holidays is difficult, and spending Christmas Day using Skype wasn't really the same as being present. 

I then embarked on a second, three-month expedition to supervise the establishment of the office in New York. Loved New York with all my heart! Everything seems a little bit familiar, making it feel like you're in one giant TV programme. When I wasn't working, I engaged in every tourist activity imaginable and must have spent the majority of my income on eating out.It was quite difficult for me to go for the new work because I had kind of met someone. We'll talk about Michael later. 

Then I was transferred to LA, which, in comparison to the East Coast, felt like a completely different country. I could absolutely adapt to that kind of active, beach lifestyle, but because I was traveling back to visit Michael every other weekend, I didn't spend as much time exploring California as I could have. He visited me when he could, but because of his profession, he frequently works on weekends and couldn't take the flight. After those three months, which passed quickly, I left once more for Frankfurt, where I am currently located.And Michael is too! He received a month off of work, so we are figuring out how to spend some time together in the same location. We believe that getting married is the first step in that direction, which is also the reason I felt the need to write — I can't get married without my oldest friend being present! I hope you can attend the wedding in September, which will be held in my house in London.
