Art and culture & Technology- IELTS

IELTS writing task 2 asks the candidates to write an essay in response to a prompt. The sample answer to IELTS writing task 2 helps the candidates to form their answers in the most scoring way.
Definition-

You will have one hour to finish the entire writing test, including tasks 1 and 2. It is advised to complete work 1 in no more than 20 minutes and devote the remaining time to task 2, as task 2 will earn you more band than activity 1. Grammar and word usage on the test will both be taken into account when determining your score. Use around 150 words for task 1 and 250 words for task 2, respectively.

Topic-

Even in the world of highly developed science and technology today, we nevertheless place a high value on the work of artists like singers, painters, and writers. What are the life lessons that the arts can impart that science and technology cannot?

Sample Answer-

We are living in the modern era, where science and technology are constantly advancing. However, compared to scientists and tech-savvy individuals, artists are held in the highest regard all across the world. This is due to the fact that art can impart knowledge to us about life that neither science nor technology can.

Different creative genres, notably literature, educate people to convey ideas through appreciating basic concepts. It enables us to embrace life as it is and to love it to the fullest extent imaginable. Numerous works of literature tell the tales of ordinary to outstanding people and their struggles to survive while experiencing pain, tragedy, and sorrow. These literary works always have a lesson for everyone, but especially for people who don't value life.

For instance, "The Goldfinch" tells the tale of the protagonist's terrible life following the tragic loss of his mother. Technology cannot emotionally connect with us the way that art can. Although science and technology surely make our lives comfortable and easygoing, art is something to which we can all relate. Furthermore, I don't think any technology could ever be able to communicate ideas as effectively as art can.

Conclusion-
